Objectives- you should be able to identify all of the requirements for a negotiable instrument as well as the major types of negotiable instruments. There are many articles regarding negotiable instruments.  Here is an address for one.  https://www.referenceforbusiness.com/encyclopedia/Mor-Off/Negotiable-Instruments.html  With regard to the Credit section of the chapter, you should know how to go about getting credit, the different types of credit accounts, where you apply for credit, and what security is as it relates to your ability to get credit.   Review and be very familiar with Appendix D in your textbook, which is an excerpt from the Uniform Commercial Code, especially Article 3, which governs Negotiable Instruments and secured transactions.  You should be able to identify the three types of Bankruptcy, as well as the elements of each type.

Also do case question #5. on page 321.  You will need to look up the case of Krumme v. Moody, 910, P.2d., 993  Sup. Ct., Ok. (1996)  https://law.justia.com/cases/oklahoma/supreme-court/1995/4254-1.html  This is a good discussion of who is a surety and who is just an "accommodation party" when signing a negotiable instrument and who is obligated to pay.
